Service Impact

WHY ROUTINE SERVICING IS MANDATORY

Maintaining your service log protects your safety, wallet, and warranty. Skipping it leads to costly faults.

What You Get (The Benefits)

  • ✓

    Better MPG

Fresh oil and clean filters reduce engine friction, saving up to 10% on fuel bills.

  • ✓

    Warranty Protected

Using OE-matching parts outside main dealerships keeps manufacturer warranty active.

  • ✓

    Retained Car Value

A fully stamped service history adds up to 20% to your vehicle's eventual resale value.

The Risks of Delay (What if you don't?)

  • !

    Catastrophic Engine Failure

Old oil turns to tar-like sludge, clogging oil lines and causing engine seizure or chain snaps.

  • !

    MOT Emission Failures

Clogged filters cause incomplete combustion, resulting in excessive emission levels.

  • !

    Undetected safety wear

Without inspection, cracked brake hoses or steering play go unnoticed until failure occurs.

WHAT COVENTRY MOTORISTS SAY

"They are friendly, knowledgeable, and most important honest company. I took my car to them after being told by another local garage, that I needed my front calipers replacing, as well as discs and pads. They quoted £1100 + vat. Which is crazy for a 13 y/o kia. The Motor Medics checked the calipers are fine, discs and pads for nearly £1000 less. Great work and communications at all times. I cannot recommend them enough."

"Very happy with the service. Their quote was £200 cheaper than the garage that did my MOT and they were able to do it far quicker. Very pleased and thankful"

"So happy with the service recently received from these three amazing guys. Having never heard of them (despite living nearby!) but reading excellent reviews on a local village facebook page, I decided to give them a go … and im just so glad i did! They diagnosed & fixed my poorly little cars multiple problems. A tiny glitch occurred not long after the major repairs, which they kindly sorted in minutes with no drama. Im so happy to have finally found a decent, trustworthy & professional mechanic, who i can rely on. Location and convenience of appointments also fits in with my work/life 🤩HIGHLY RECOMMEND🤩"

SERVICING FAQS

Will this void my warranty?+
Absolutely not. Under 'Block Exemption' legislation, you have the right to choose where your car is serviced. As we use OE-spec parts and follow manufacturer schedules, your warranty remains 100% intact.
How long does a service take?+
An interim service takes approx 1.5 - 2 hours. A full or major service typically requires 3-4 hours to ensure all 160+ inspection points and software scans are performed correctly.
Do you update digital service books?+
Yes. We have registered access to most major manufacturer portals (BMW, VW Group, Mercedes, etc.) and can update your digital service record officially.
Do I need to be present during the service?+
No, you do not need to wait around. As long as we have access to your vehicle keys and there is space around the car to work safely, you can go about your day at home or in the office. We will call you if any issues are identified and notify you once the service is complete.
What happens if you find additional faults during the service?+
We believe in complete transparency. If we discover additional faults (such as heavily worn brakes, fluid leaks, or split suspension boots), we will document them with photos/videos and provide you with an upfront, itemized quote. We will never carry out extra repairs without your explicit permission.
Can you service hybrid or electric vehicles (EVs)?+
Yes! Our mobile technicians are fully qualified and IMI-certified to service hybrid and electric vehicles safely. We adapt the service checklist to include EV-specific items like high-voltage cable visual audits, battery coolant strength verification, and regenerative braking inspections.
How can I pay for my service?+
For your convenience, we accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, and Google Pay on-site using our secure mobile card terminals. We can also accept bank transfers. Payment is only processed after the service is complete and you have reviewed the checklist.
