An interim service covers the essentials — oil and filter change, fluid top-ups, and a visual safety check. It is typically due every 6 months or 6,000 miles and suits drivers who cover higher mileage or want a check between full services.
When Is Your Car Due a Service?
Most vehicles need servicing based on either time or mileage — whichever comes first. If you drive fewer miles, the time interval still applies because fluids degrade and rubber components age regardless of use.
